I’m assuming that the HP Software provided utilities to manage the raid but a search on HP’s website was completely hopeless as it does not even seem to know what a microserver N40L is! Register a new account. This is what I’m actually seeing. I loaded up Kubuntu to set it up as a media server. I ordered 4 of these and 2 of these for mine.

Does it take standard form factor sized SATA drives? The BIOS merely tells me it’s critical but doesn’t give me any more meaningful information. AD domain and email server have the same name – can’t get to email server! I have one running 4 X 2tb disks in gaid raid and the included gig as a the system disk mounting in the cd drive bay.

HP Microserver N40L Raid Utility and Driver
