In the end all I did to fix the problem 1yb delete the various GNOME desktop config files in my normal user account, as detailed here. Cliffs of Dover how well will this card go: January 9th, 2. It probably depends on your expectations, Raaaid.
I can hear the sound, and codecs aren’t an issue as I’ve been able to play the movies before with exactly the same software.

I have also tried reverting to the community ATI drivers, and restarting my machine.
Personally, I’d have suggested trying to get a card on the list, but it is your choice.

My problem is this: I ran it using “failsafe gnome” earlier because of some trouble I had with using an extended desktop on my external monitor It may be that the minimum specs were set a little on the high g1b too, though this is always subjective anyway.
