I must clarify, it runs on Virtual XP but very slowly and the video is quite choppy. It looks like AV Labs has been bought. Trust me I have really searched a lot! Can’t say I used it much though. Anyway, I’m not sure if this will help or not, but I tried downloading the latest driver http:

I’m not sure whether this is just due to a bad signal or it may just be that the computer’s resources are being drained due to the large allocation given to the Virtual PC.

Just out of interest, what’s the remote like for this tuner? Everything installed OK, but hypermediacenter would not start at all — I kept getting the ‘Windows Error Reporting’ popup and I was not far from returning it as faulty.

I’ve just installed this on Win 7 bit and I got the same problem you had — computer crashing when I try scanning for channels specifically, blue screen of death. New USB device strings: Not many alv680hd so I’ll share my Dad’s immediate response regarding what he thinks of it thus far I am still stuck with this problem any further suggestions are welcome.
Anyway, I’m not sure if this will help or not, but I tried avl680hdd the latest driver http: Any ideas what my problem is? They’ve had it on twice so it’ll probably come up again at avlabx point. Avlabe kept giving me Weak Signals and dropping out, where as HMC has yet to give me that problem, even if its the same antenna connection 2 Has anyone managed to use this device as a digital radio, as per the details on the box.
